Carla Khoury - a professional hair styling and colour expert.



With a passion for motorbikes, electronic games and extreme outdoor activities Carla Khoury’s choice of profession as hair stylist and colour expert seems to strike the right balance in her life and choice of hobbies!



Born in Lebanon from a family of 5 Carla grew with many ambitions and interests and her nature translates into her philosophy at work; be honest and express yourself.



She always sported original hairstyles; cuts and fashion sense which fed everyone’s encouragement for her to go for some kind of designing career.



Carla acquired a diploma in fashion design from the CAMM-Course Artistic de la Mode Modern in 1988, and with an artistic knack and the natural ability to detect people personalities Carla found herself drawn to the world of Hair styling. She simply believes that Hair styling goes beyond colour and cut, it has a great impact on personality, moods and self perception.



The idea of working with her three favourite elements; colours, psychology and styling, she had no doubt where she would go next.



In 1992, she went for a hairdressing diploma from the YWCA, practiced and developed her skills at a local saloon in Lebanon. She then made the move to Dubai in 1996 to reunite with her boyfriend (now husband) and got a job at S&B (Science and Beauty). She was drawn by the medical and technical side of hair treatment S&B opened many opportunities for her to further satisfy that interest with travel and training courses.



After 4 years of learning, training and upgrading her skills, Carla was handed the responsibility of managing the place and was the official trainer of Rene Furturer Pharmaceutical and medicated products for hair care.

Slowly but steadily Carla built a loyal client base of ladies who came specifically to seek her advice on the best colour, styles that would suite their lifestyles and personality. It was then decided it was time to move on.



In 2003 armed with boundless energy, enthusiasm and a business partner, Carla K Styling opened in Al Wadi centre on Sheikh Zayed road. Today Carla is the sole owner of the Saloon and she has just now begun to realise some of her many dreams.

Carla aspires to open branches in Lebanon, UK and the United States, she dreams of having her own technical training school and to be part of Judge for Internationally acclaimed Hair Styling competitions.

For me it’s all about being professional, approachable and honest.

It’s not about the amount of branches opened and that’s what makes Carla K styling exclusive and well reputed.



arla travels twice yearly to attend trainings and get exposed to the newest and most modern trend for hair color and styling in the major world capitals

And yearly attends the L’Oreal Business forum.



It is no surprise that Carla has a long lasting relationship with Fashion and tremendously enjoys backstage and fashion shoots.
