Allison Pickford – Founder and inspiration for BodySmart – the targeted body shaping experts.



Allison became involved in the fitness industry 12 years ago, drawing upon her previous sales and marketing experience in the corporate world. With a personal interest in fitness and successful weight loss, she also wanted to find a way for slimmers to maintain their goals. Allison discovered HYPOXI, and, having completed the HYPOXI® Master Training at their head office in Austria, she became the first Master Trainer in the Middle East and launched a HYPOXI® home based training business.



The results spoke for themselves and as the word spread, Allison soon needed larger premises. In May 2006, she set up the first dedicated HYPOXI® studio in The Meadows Dubai, opening a second centre in Umm Suqeim in February 2009. What began as a team of three has flourished and she now has twenty staff, whom she ensures stay up to date, and keeps their knowledge current with regular health, nutrition and fitness courses run by recognised training bodies.



Allison leads her team by example: she herself uses HYPOXI® three times a week to maintain her trim figure, and advocates healthy eating. She is very hands-on and customer focused, committed to providing high standards of customer service and follow-through. She is always available to her clients, enjoys talking to them, and shares their delight in their progress as they reach their objective.

Over the years, men and women of all ages and nationalities and varying fitness levels have come through BodySmart’s doors. Allison and her team have come to recognise, guide and advise the best course of treatment for different genetic body types and varying diets. She has helped XXX men and women achieve their target weight, resculpt their bodies and rid themselves of stubborn fat and cellulite deposits when other methods have failed, or when injury has prevented them from following more conventional sporting activities.



BodySmart is also an LPG specialist, and was the first studio to introduce the MY LPG Lipomassage programme in Dubai, which includes the Cellu M6 LPG and the Huber. Allison further added PowerPlate, Personal Training, nutritional advice and Xen-Tan, the premium sunless spray tanning solution to BodySmart’s repertoire. Clients often use the variety to optimise results, target specific trouble spots or take their goals to a new level.



Allison supports, motivates and nurtures her staff, maintaining “I am only as strong as my team”.
