Welcome to Al Ma’arifa International Private School. Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make. It gives me great pride and pleasure when I look back and see how far Al Ma’arifa has come in such a short time. From relatively modest beginnings it has flourished into the huge establishment it is today. The history of Al Ma’arifa serves to illustrate what has been achieved so far, and is a tribute to all those ideas and efforts that have gone into building this institution. In September 1986, Al Ma’arifa first opened its doors to the children of the UAE. Its main aim was to meet the growing academic needs of the children of our community. We opened with 11 classes and a total of 120 students. Within a decade our enrollment was ten times greater. Today, we have a total student population of 5000!! Al Maarifa International School (MIS) has a reputation for providing excellent facilities and amenities for all its students. Over the years, we have continually developed and improved our programs and the quality of education provided and we are now regarded as one of the best international schools in the UAE.
